Born in 1971, he grew up in the Ziller Valley on a mountain farm. Already early on he found his passion for the mountains. Already during his childhood years he went alone on journeys on the 3,000ers of the Ziller Valley.
After my apprenticeship as an offset printer, rock climbing and ice climbing became more and more my focus. As a late vocation I successfully absolved my education as a mountain guide.
Mountaineering on the western Alps fascinates me a lot, but also Alpine climbing, ski touring and ice climbing are part of my set of hobbies.
I live closely to the Kufstein at the foot of the Wilden Kaiser with my wife and our two children.
