In his spare time, Niklaus enjoys sport climbing, both in Switzerland and abroad. Klaus has been at home in the mountains ever since his early childhood – with his parents, who are the caretakers of the SAC mountain hut Geltenhütte or with the SAC and the JO, the youth organisation of the SAC.
