From the Rhine Valley to Everest
In Kari’s younger days you would never have thought that he would become a leading organiser of 8000m expeditions. When he was 23 he discovered his love for the mountains and in 1985 he qualified as a mountain guide and started gathering experience as an expedition leader. He has climbed Everest (8850m) three times, K2 (8611m), Broad Peak (8047m) and Gasherbrum (8035m) and continues to be an exceptional leader of varying expeditions.
