All Kobler & Partner offers include flights departing from Switzerland. If you wish to depart from a different country instead, Kobler & Partner will clarify whether this is possible regarding the booked travel offer and whether any extra cost will arise as a consequence. All participants with a pending flight query will be informed in due time about the possibility to book an alternative flight connection and about the possible consequential surcharge.
All our travel offers are also available without the included international flights. Additionally, some expeditions are explicitly advertised without international flights (e.g. Mt. Everest; since normally our Everest aspirants come from all over the world, it is easier if they are responsible for their own flights). Participants booking offers without an included flight will meet the rest of their travel/ expedition group at the first hotel in the country of destination or at the local airport. Kobler & Partner will provide all the necessary information prior to your departure.
All our flights are subject to strict conditions set by the respective airline companies. For all extensions or flights other than the booked group flights, Kobler & Partner first have to make the necessary requirements directly with the airline company in charge, waiting for confirmation afterwards. Once a ticket has been issued, flights can be changed, but this will lead to extra costs. Once your booked trip has started, changes are only possible with limitations. The costs for changing your homebound flight depend on the airline company in charge.
If you miss your flight for any reason, please immediately contact the airline company in charge and ask them to change your flight. Afterwards, please contact Kobler & Partner and the local agency in charge in your country of destination. Please give them your flight number and inform them about the new arrival times, so they can organise someone to pick you up upon arrival and bring you to your hotel.
Due to safety regulations, items such as pocket knives, scissors, batteries, chargers, etc. are no longer allowed in your hand luggage. Please put all these "dangerous" items into your main luggage, which you check in at the airport. You should always pack personal medication as well as your camera in your hand luggage.
Liquid and semi-liquid (viscous) products, like e.g. cosmetics and toiletries, are allowed in your hand luggage, as long as you pack them as follows:
