Journey via Lhasa
Mount Everest, North

06. April – 01. June 2012 / 57 days

Fr. 41,900 / € 33,520 with 6 People

Leitung: Kari Kobler, Mountain guide

Many ways lead to the summit of Mount Everest. To date, twelve routes have been established and mountaineers from many nations have reached the summit. However, more and more they are driven by a particular ambition to outperfprm previous mountaineers and set up new records, for example ascending without oxygen, solo, or in the shortest possible time. Contrary to this, our aim is simply to experience this adventure without such ambitions in our own special way.

  • We travel to the mystical Mount Everest via Lhasa. This journey with its cultural highlights prepares us for the expedition.
  • The normal route from the north is the safest way up the highest mountain in the world.
  • We will climb a few «smaller» mountains from base camp to assist in optimal acclimatisation.
  • We are the only organisation in German speaking regions dealing with Everest expeditions and have had numerous successes.
  • 2008 and 2009 all our clients reached Mt. Everest from the South (Nepal) and 2010 all our guests using oxygen reached the peak, this time from the North (Tibet) - there are only a few travel organisers which are crowned with such success!
  • Expedition experience necessary and/or mountain guide.
