Dwelling of the Inca Gods
Aconcagua and Llullaillaco

24. November – 22. December 2012 / 29 days

Fr. 9,420 / € 7,540 with 9 People

Leitung: Hannes Jähn, Mountain guide

The Andes, the longest mountain range on Earth, are dominated by volcanism. The «Roof of the Andes», Llullaillaco (6739m) is the highest non-glaciated peak in the world. Aconcagua or «Cerro Aconcagua» for full (6962m), is the highest mountain in South America and of the American continent, as well as the highest mountain outside Asia.

  • To speed up the acclimatisation process, we first climb Llullaillaco, which is fairly easy from a technical point of view.
  • Llulaillaco is a true gem regarding landscape and cultural history.
  • What mountaineer hasn’t yet dreamed of climbing Aconcagua? Ascent and descent will be made on different routes.
  • NB: Please also check out our other Aconcagua expeditions. All of them differ regarding dates, included services and journey to the mountain.
  • Quality bonus: 1 local guide per 4 participants, food preparation in the high camps, porters for tents, cooking utensils (up to the 3 high camps and back down).
