The six highest Karakorum mountains are also known as «the lucent mountains». Gasherbrum II is the 6th highest mountain in the Karakorum and the 13th highest mountain in the world. Gasherbrum II is located in the Karakorum in Pakistan whereas Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Ama Dablam are all located in Nepal.
