A Colossus Made of Ice
Mt. Vinson

20. November – 09. December 2012 / 20 days

Leitung: Helmut Kritzinger, Mountain guide

Antarctica – a continent of superlatives, almost untouched by human beings. Mount Vinson, located in the Ellesworth Mountains, was first climbed in 1966. To this day, expeditions to these degrees of latitude are rare and they demand the full extent of personal effort. Silence, wind, white-out, the much needed patience and the knowledge of being miles from anywhere are only some of the attributes that make up an expedition to Mount Vinson.

  • An expedition to the most remote parts of our Earth.
  • Extreme weather conditions but no great technical difficulties.
  • Truly fantastic and unforgettable landscape.
  • Mount Vinson – one of the «Seven Summits».
  • After 7 successful Vinson expeditions, Kobler & Partner have established their status as an ANI «Preferred Guiding Company».
