Antarctica – a continent of superlatives, almost untouched by human beings. Mount Vinson, located in the Ellesworth Mountains, was first climbed in 1966. To this day, expeditions to these degrees of latitude are rare and they demand the full extent of personal effort. Silence, wind, white-out, the much needed patience and the knowledge of being miles from anywhere are only some of the attributes that make up an expedition to Mount Vinson.
